Upgrading Campus Security at IIIT Sonipat with IP Surveillance by Impulse
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Sonipat is a premier academic institution with an active campus ecosystem comprising academic blocks, administrative offices, student common areas, and open outdoor spaces. With continuous student movement and expanding infrastructure, the institute required a high-performance surveillance system capable of delivering comprehensive visibility and operational control.
Impulse was selected to design and deploy a high-resolution IP-based CCTV solution tailored to the dynamic requirements of a modern educational campus.

For indoor academic and administrative areas, Impulse deployed 5 MP Motorised Dome Cameras
These cameras provide precise focal length adjustment during installation, ensuring optimal scene coverage across varied indoor layouts. To secure entry points, walkways, and building exteriors, 5 MP Motorised Bullet Cameras were installed
Engineered for outdoor durability, these cameras deliver reliable image clarity across changing lighting conditions, strengthening perimeter monitoring and access control visibility.
For expansive areas such as open grounds and large movement zones, PTZ Cameras were also supplied and deployed
With pan, tilt, and zoom functionality, these cameras enable dynamic real-time tracking and flexible wide-area surveillance. Security personnel can quickly focus on specific events or monitor broader sections of the campus, significantly enhancing situational awareness and response efficiency.
