The Solution
Impulse CCTV deployed an integrated surveillance system combining high-performance cameras, centralized video recording, and rugged PoE network switches. The complete solution offered a reliable, flexible, and intelligent security framework tailored for institutional environments.
Impulse installed this motorized dome camera in indoor locations such as classrooms, hallways, and administrative areas. Equipped with a 1/2.7″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, it offers crystal-clear 5MP resolution at 2592 × 1944 and operates efficiently in low-light conditions with a 50-meter IR range. Its motorized varifocal lens enables remote focus and zoom adjustment, while 3D DNR and WDR features enhance image clarity. Compact and discreet, it provides reliable indoor surveillance without disrupting the campus aesthetic.
5MP Varifocal Network Bullet Camera
For outdoor zones including main entry points, boundary walls, and open student gathering areas, this bullet camera was chosen for its robust design and advanced optics. It features a 1/2.7″ CMOS sensor with a 2.7mm to 13.5mm varifocal lens, 50-meter IR range, and edge analytics such as motion detection. With Quad stream, WDR, SD card support, and audio/alarm I/O capabilities, this camera delivers 24×7 surveillance with exceptional clarity and proactive threat identification.
64-Channel 4K Network Video Recorder
To manage and store high-volume video feeds, Impulse deployed this high-capacity NVR at the central control room. Supporting 64 channels and 8 SATA drives, the recorder offers 640 Mbps bandwidth with H.265 compression for space-efficient storage. Its 4K resolution and intuitive playback features allow the security team to access and analyze footage with precision, ensuring no incident goes unnoticed.
24-Port PoE+ Industrial Network Switch
Installed to power and connect indoor camera clusters, this industrial-grade switch provides 24×10/100/1000M PoE ports and 4×1/10G uplinks. Its high bandwidth ensures uninterrupted video transmission from multiple cameras simultaneously, forming the network backbone of the system.
6-Port PoE+ Industrial Network Switch
This switch was deployed in remote or outdoor locations to power edge cameras. With 4+2 ports and rugged build quality, it supports high-performance surveillance in outdoor conditions without failure or connectivity loss, even in challenging weather environments.
