Strengthening Security at NSTI Panipat with Impulse Solutions

The National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) Panipat is a leading institution dedicated to advancing vocational and technical education in India. With large student gatherings, multiple training labs, and administrative facilities, the institute needed a modern security infrastructure that could ensure round-the-clock safety while providing crystal-clear video surveillance across the campus.

Dome Camera

For indoor spaces such as classrooms, labs, and offices, the Dome Camera was installed to provide detailed coverage. This 5MP motorized IR dome camera is equipped with a 1/2.7-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor, delivering resolutions of up to 2592 × 1944 at 25/30fps. With 3D DNR for noise reduction, adjustable shutter speeds from 1/3s to 1/100000s, and an IR range of up to 50 meters, the camera ensures superior performance in both well-lit and low-light conditions, making it ideal for continuous monitoring.

Bullet Camera

To secure outdoor perimeters, entrances, and parking areas, the Bullet Camera was deployed. This 5MP varifocal network camera offers a 1/2.7″ CMOS sensor and a 2.7mm–13.5mm varifocal lens, giving flexibility in field of view adjustments. With a 50-meter IR range, quad stream support, SD card backup, WDR, and auto/manual shutter options, it provides reliable performance day and night. Its advanced features such as motion detection, edge analytics, and audio/alarm input-output allow security personnel to respond quickly to any unusual activity.

Network Video Recorder

At the core of the system lies the Network Video Recorder. Designed to support up to 32 IP channels with a recording bandwidth of 320 Mbps, it ensures smooth handling of multiple camera feeds. With H.265 and H.264 compression support, the recorder optimizes storage without compromising on quality. Equipped with 8 SATA HDD slots and 4K HDMI output, the NVR allows the security team to access high-definition playback while maintaining scalability for future requirements.
